Copy compensation bands from existing jobs

You can now copy compensation bands from an existing job, job template, or job posting using the new “Copy From…” action in Ashby.

This is especially useful for teams that maintain consistent pay ranges across similar roles, eliminating the need to recreate tiers from scratch each time.

How it works

Use “Copy From…” anywhere you manage compensation bands:

• Admin Settings → Job Boards → Compensation
• Job templates
• Job postings

Select a source to copy from (Job or Job Posting), choose the record, and preview the tiers before applying. If any existing tiers will be overwritten, you’ll see a warning before confirming.
