Connect Ashby data to broader business analytics with Amazon S3 data sharing
Today, we're releasing Amazon S3 data sharing capabilities for Enterprise customers. This gives you direct access to Ashby recruiting data in your own AWS environment, enabling your team to integrate it with internal company data from other systems.

Many Enterprise teams have established data standards and internal reporting requirements. Your data team aggregates company data sources into a central warehouse where they can now combine Ashby data with other types of business data (sales, customer, finance,HR, etc). This unlocks analysis that span multiple systems and conform to your organization's reporting standards.
Amazon S3 data sharing in Ashby makes this simple: we deliver a complete, structured export of your data directly to your S3 bucket on a daily basis.
The sync process
Once configured, Ashby exports a complete snapshot of your recruiting data to a dedicated S3 bucket in your AWS account every 24 hours. The data is organized in a consistent structure for use in the data infrastructure of your team’s choosing. This may be within Amazon's ecosystem with something like AWS Athena or Redshift, or even ingestion of the data into Google Cloud for use with Google BigQuery.
Each S3 sync delivers a full copy of your dataset. This approach removes the need for your team to handle deduplication, merging, or change tracking. You always have a clean, complete view of your data.
Why this matters
With your Ashby data in your warehouse, you can pursue analysis that combine recruiting activity with other business data. Things like:
- Connecting recruiting outcomes to long-term employee performance
- Building custom visualizations that adhere to internal reporting standards
- Creating internal tools or dashboards tailored to how your organization consumes data
Once the data is in your S3 environment, you have full flexibility to build custom reports and analysis that connect recruiting data with your other company data sources.
Getting started
S3 data share is available on Enterprise plans. We also offer a data sharing mechanism that works for Snowflake data warehouses. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get started with either sharing option. You can also check out our Knowledge Base article on S3 data sharing to learn more.
