ADP
Overview
ADP Workforce Now is a widely used payroll and HRIS platform. When a candidate is marked as Hired in Ashby, their data, including name, email, start date, pay rate, and job details, is automatically pushed to ADP as a pre-hire record, eliminating manual data entry at handoff. The sync is triggered at hire and configured from Ashby's admin integrations settings. Existing employee records are not updated; only new hires are synced.
How to use
As an Ashby Org Admin, log in to the Ashby Marketplace and retrieve your activation code.
On apps.adp.com, search for "Ashby Connector for ADP Workforce Now," click Buy Now, complete checkout, enter the Ashby activation code when prompted, and provide consent when asked.
Return to Ashby, click Activate on the ADP integration, then click Sync Custom Fields. Toggle on the fields you want populated by your Talent team when pushing hires to ADP.
In ADP, go to Setup > Template Management > Hire/Rehire, select each active onboarding template, click Assign Users, and enable the system profile so that custom fields and onboarding templates sync correctly.
When a candidate is marked Hired in Ashby, use the Add Candidate Data button on their ADP activity panel (manual push) or enable automatic sync from the HRIS Integrations page in Ashby Admin.
