Report Email Abuse

Last updated September 21, 2026

To report a suspicious or abusive email sent through Ashby, complaints can be forwarded to abuse@ashbyhq.com with a short explanation of your concern.

Why does this email mention Ashby?

Ashby provides recruiting software that organizations use to manage their hiring process, this includes the ability to send emails. These emails may use an Ashby email address, such as no-reply@ashbyhq.com, even when they come from another organization.

What to include in your report

Use your email app’s Forward option. Include:

  • The full email, including the sender’s address, subject, and date.
  • The footer at the bottom of the email, including the “Report this email” link, if present. This link helps us identify the account that sent the message.
  • A short explanation of what seems suspicious or abusive. For example, an unexpected request for money, an attempt to get your password, or someone pretending to represent another organization.

You can report an email even if you’re unsure whether it’s fraudulent or suspicious. You don’t need an Ashby account to make a report.

Avoid clicking links or opening attachments in a suspicious email. You can forward the message without opening them.

What happens next?
