HireRight
Overview
HireRight is a global background screening platform offering criminal, employment, and education verifications, drug testing, and identity checks. Connected to Ashby, recruiters can add HireRight background checks as an activity in the candidate's interview plan, triggering the check and receiving results back within the Ashby workflow without switching tools.
How to use
Contact HireRight to set up the integration on your HireRight account — a HireRight technical consultant will guide you and provide your Client ID and Client Secret.
In Ashby, go to Admin > Integrations > HireRight, click "Enable HireRight," enter your HireRight Client ID and Secret, and generate an Ashby API key.
Choose how assessments should be added: configure in interview plan (recommended), automatically add at Offer stage, or manually from the candidate profile.
Enter the HireRight Company Login provided by HireRight.
When a candidate reaches the configured stage, click "Start Assessment," fill in the job location and required details, then click Start to send the invitation.
