Overview

Skima AI is a recruitment intelligence platform that automates resume screening and surfaces pre-existing candidates from your pipeline who match open roles. Connected to Ashby via API and webhooks, Skima AI writes Match Scores, fit explanations, and a "Skima AI Screened" tag directly into each candidate's Ashby application. Hiring manager feedback captured in Ashby feeds back into Skima AI's scoring loop.

How to use

1. In Ashby, go to Admin > API Keys. Create a key with candidatesRead, candidatesWrite, organizationRead, and apiKeysRead permissions. Copy the key.

2. In Skima AI, go to Integrations, search for Ashby, click Add, and enter your Ashby admin email and API key.

3. Allow Skima AI to create custom application fields in Ashby for Match Score, Reasons, and Shortlist Link, or create them manually in advance.

4. Enable webhooks in Ashby for applicationUpdate, candidateStageChange, and applicationSubmit using the endpoint URL and secret Skima provides.

5. Once live, Skima AI writes Match Scores (0-100), fit explanations, and a "Skima AI Screened" tag into each candidate's Ashby application.
