Custom field reference ID in API

You can now assign a reference ID to a custom field and use it as an alternate name to identify that field in the API instead of the field's auto-generated ID.  This makes integration code easier to read and maintain.

Previously, custom field IDs would have to be tracked manually. With this update, you can give a custom field a specific, human-readable name (for example, legacy_job_id ) to read or set values using the developer API. This reference ID can be set directly in the Custom Fields settings page or through the developer API.
