When you're booking a panel or an on-site interview, keeping the candidate in a single meeting room for the full panel makes for a smoother experience and much simpler logistics. But finding a room that's free across every event in a panel has meant checking availability event by event, or jumping out to your native calendar, creating dummy events to see which rooms are open, and then coming back to Ashby to make each selection manually.

Today, we're releasing an updated room selection experience for panels, giving you the ability to find and book a meeting room across an entire panel in a single step.

Find rooms available across the full panel

When scheduling a panel, you can now search for meeting rooms that are available across all events in the panel, or as many as possible when no single room covers everything. Select a room once and it applies to every event in the panel, so there's no need to assign the same room over and over.

Works for multi-day schedules and breaks

For schedules that span multiple days, you can look for rooms available across the full schedule or select rooms day by day. You can also toggle on the option to include breaks, which finds rooms that are free from the first event to the last event of each day, including any gaps in between. That way the room stays yours for the entire onsite, and the candidate never has to relocate between interviews.
